Dennis French-Owner

Dennis, the owner and founder of DeFrench Properties, is a dedicated professional with a passion for helping others and a diverse background in landscaping, real estate, and mortgages. Guided by Christian values, he has built a successful career marked by a commitment to excellence and service.

Dennis began his journey in real estate as a state-licensed mortgage broker and a Federal-licensed Loan Originator, collaborating with esteemed companies such as Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and more. His focus on assisting veterans led him to become a top VA originator, providing valuable support to veterans in managing their finances.

With an impressive track record spanning over a decade, Dennis emerged as one of the country's top VA loan officers. His commitment to professionalism is evident in the absence of complaints with the BBB, Banking Commission, and VA. Beyond his individual achievements, Dennis actively engaged with the veteran community as a group speaker, offering guidance on finance and benefits.

Licensed in multiple states as a HUD home specialist, Dennis extended his reach to help low-income families enhance their credit and secure homes. Additionally, he served as a volunteer teacher and assistant in both public and Christian schools, embodying his dedication to education.

As a father of three, Dennis takes pride in his children's academic accomplishments, with two holding master's degrees and the youngest on track to complete one. Throughout his career, he maintained a debt-free operation while owning and operating various businesses, including an authorized commercial Panasonic and Okidata dealership and service center.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Dennis ventured into the Appalachian Mountains, where he owned and operated a retreat with tri-level cabins and camping sites. His exceptional hospitality earned him a "super host" rating, serving repeat clients and establishing agreements with institutions like Ga Tech and third-party money transfer companies.

Dennis's work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit were evident from a young age when he began working on the Hardee farm at 10 and managed a bar and restaurant for Fieldstone Country Club by the age of 15. His dedication to community service is reflected in his involvement as a coach and sponsor for boys and girls athletics and cheerleaders.

Notably, Dennis excelled academically, starting college during the 11th grade and completing all high school requirements, exempting him from the 12th grade. With a perfect criminal record, he expanded his horizons through extensive travel to Kiev, Central and South America, demonstrating a keen interest in foreign languages and history.

Recognizing a growing need for land clearing and development in the Jackson County area, Dennis decided to leverage his skills to meet this demand. His meticulous attention to detail and eye for design, honed through his experience in real estate, has set him apart in the landscaping business. Whether it's clearing land for a new development, creating an RV site, or constructing a road, Dennis has consistently delivered exceptional results. His reputation for hard work and artistic flair continues to complement his success in both landscaping and realty.
